Ahead of the grand release of Marakkar in theatres on December 2, the makers have launched the first of several teasers.

Directed by Priyadarshan, the National award-winning epic is produced by Antony Perumbavoor of Aashirvad Cinemas.

Also starring Manju Warrier, Keerthy Suresh, Kalyani Priyadarshan, Pranav Mohanlal, Arjun Sarja, and Suniel Shetty, the mammoth film is based on the adventures of Kunjali Marakkar IV, the naval commander of the Zamorin rulers.

Marakkar was written jointly by Priyadarshan and Ani Sasi. Veteran production designer Sabu Cyril designed the sets.

Roy CJ and Santosh T Kuruvilla are co-producing it under the banners Confident Group and Moonshot Entertainments respectively.
