In 2020, Fahadh Faasil grabbed the headlines as he disclosed that he would like to become an Uber driver in Barcelona after his retirement from cinema. The revelation came in an interview with The Indian Express, where he shared that he even told about this plan of his to his wife and actor Nazriya Nazim. Fahadh was asked about it in a recent interview and he offered a clarification.
Speaking to Eyeshwarya, Fahadh said, "I think I used the wrong term. Not Uber, what I meant is I would like to drive people from one place to another destination. I would like to witness another person's destination. The joy of dropping someone in a destination—I like that. That is what I meant, not Uber driving."
Fahadh said that he shares such thoughts with his friends, although it is 'exaggerated'. The actor added that he goes to pick up his close relatives or family members from the airport, regardless of the time of day. "Most of the time, I drop them back as well," the actor shared before noting that he does this not because it would give him a new perspective but rather because it makes him happy.
On the work front, Fahadh Faasil was last seen in a cameo role in this year's Idhayam Murali, opposite Atharvaa. He is now promoting his upcoming Telugu film, Don't Trouble The Trouble, which is set to hit theatres on October 02, Friday. Directed by Shashank Yeleti, the fantasy film stars Fahadh as a street magician.
Looking ahead, he also has films such as Karate Chandran, Torpedo with Tharun Moorthy, a yet-untitled project with '96 and Meiyazhagan director C Prem Kumar, and more in various stages of development.
