The long-delayed Mathew Thomas-Sreenath Bhasi starrer Udumbanchola Vision is finally scheduled for release on October 21. Directed by debutant Salaam Bukhari, a former associate of Anwar Rasheed, the film has been in the making for well over two years.

Newcomer Alan Rodney has scripted the film, produced by Ashar Ameer and Riaz K Muhammed under the banners of A&R Media Labs and UB Productions.

Udumbanchola Vision marks the Malayalam debut of Milind Soman. The ensemble cast further includes Dileesh Pothan, Siddique, Ashokan, Babu Antony, Sudev Nair, Jinu Joseph, Abhiram Radhakrishnan, Shankar Induchoodan, Shaheen Siddique, Bhagath Manuel, Haslee, Chaithanya Prakash, Jijina Radhakrishnan, Srinda, Neena Kurup, and R J Murugan, among others.

On the technical front, the film has cinematography by Vishnu Thandassery, editing by Vivek Harshan and music by Gopi Sunder.

Mathew was last seen as one of the leads in Pradhama Drishtya Kuttakar, which is enjoying a successful run in theatres. Sreenath Bhasi, meanwhile, is awaiting the release of Avarachan & Sons, co-starring Biju Menon, Ganapathi, Akhila Bhargavan, and Vinay Forrt. Directed by debutant Thamby, the film is set to hit screens on October 2.
