Saiju Kurup's Aaram gets release date

Saiju Kurup plays Circle Inspector Anto Eapen in Aaram, an investigative crime thriller

Saiju Kurup's investigative crime thriller Aaram has been announced for release on September 25. The film, featuring Saiju as Circle Inspector Anto Eapen, is directed by Rajesh Parameswaran and written by Vishnu Ramachandran.

Aaram, as per the makers, revolves around the unexpected events that unfold in the life of an honest police officer, the inner conflicts he experiences, and the gripping investigation that follows. It also stars Siddique, Askar Ali, Anju Kurian, Sudheesh, Unni Lalu, Ajit Koshy, Manoj KU, Shaheen Siddique, Appunni Sasi, Meera Vasudevan, Surabhi Santhosh, Gokulan, Riyas Narmakala, and Jayaraj Warrier among others.

Junais Babu is producing the film under the banner of Good Hope. It has cinematography by Jithu Damodar, editing by V Saajan, and music by Rohith Gopalakrishnan.

Saiju will soon start shooting for a detective comedy, scripted and directed by Sagar, who previously helmed films such as Kanakarajyam and Veekam. The actor, who recently tasted massive success as a lead actor with Mohiniyattam, is also headlining Rajesh Nair’s Harivarasanam, PS Arjun’s Saakshikal, and Krishnadas Murali’s Rasaleela — the third instalment in the Bharathanatyam franchise. Saiju will also be seen in prominent supporting roles in MA Nishad's Lurk and Aamir Pallikkal’s Prempaatta.
