Dileep’s upcoming film with director Ullas Krishna will be launched with a pooja ceremony in Alappuzha on October 19. Tentatively titled D 153, the project is directed by Ullas Krishna and produced by M Star Entertainments. It follows Ullas’s 2024 directorial debut Pushpaka Vimanam, a fantasy action comedy starring Siju Wilson and Balu Varghese.
The pooja invitation of D 153 carries the tagline “The investigation begins”, while its overall design hints at an investigative crime thriller. However, details regarding the film’s plot, genre and extended cast remain under wraps. M Star Entertainments has previously co-produced the Dulquer Salmaan-led films Varane Avashyamund and Kurup. The production house is also backing Chadang, an upcoming film starring Vineeth Sreenivasan and directed by debutant Abhijith Sarya.
Meanwhile, Dileep is awaiting the release of Neekkam, directed by debutant Jagan Shaji Kailas, son of filmmaker Shaji Kailas. Written by Vibin Balachandran, the thriller features Veena Nandakumar in the female lead role, alongside Binu Pappu, Siddique, Kalabhavan Shajohn, Sirajudheen Nazar, Sudheer Sukumaran and Remya Suresh. The Meesha Madhavan actor was last seen in Bha Bha Ba, which featured Mohanlal in a pivotal cameo.
