Soubin Shahir is collaborating with writer-director Ranjan Pramod on a new film titled Night Shows. Produced by Venu Kunnappilly's Kavya Film Company in association with Colour Pencil Pictures, the project was officially announced on Saturday with a first look poster.

Ranjan Pramod is noted for scripting acclaimed films like Meesa Madhavan, Manassinakkare, Achuvinte Amma, Naran and directing Photographer, Rakshadikari Baiju Oppu and O Baby. The director had earlier shared with us his plans to make a "big-scale project" with Mammootty, with the actor himself producing. However, its current status remains unknown.

Night Shows marks Ranjan Pramod's first collaboration with Soubin. Along with him, the film also features over 1000 freshers in the cast. Shooting has already been completed, with post-production work underway.

Cinematographer Abhishekh Saravanan, music director Dawn Vincent, editor Siddique Hyder, and art director Nikhil Chacko form the core technical crew.

Soubin, last seen in a cameo in Khalifa, will also be teaming up with his Ela Veezha Poonchira director Shahi Kabir for a cop film soon.
