On Monday, the trailer for the upcoming musical horror comedy, Karakkam, was unveiled. The trailer was launched at an event held at the PVR Mall, Kochi, with the cast and crew of the film in attendance.

Subhash Lalitha Subrahmanian, who has previously directed Charles Enterprises, has helmed Karakkam from a screenplay by Nipin Narayanan, Subhash Lalitha Subrahmanian and Arjun Narayanan, based on Dhanush Varghese's story. Karakkam is set to open in theatres on May 28.

The cast of Karakkam includes Sreenath Bhasi, Femina George, Abhiram Radhakrishnan, Sidharth Bharathan, Shaun Romy, Bijukuttan, Manikandan R Achari, and Midhutty, among others.

Sam CS is composing music for the film, which features lyrics written by Anwar Ali, Vinayak Sasikumar, Muhsin Parari, Hareesh Mohanan and Su. Cinematographer Bablu Aju, editor Nithin Arol, art director P Velayudhan, and action choreographer Ravil Thyagarajan round out the crew of Karakkam.

Ankush Singh and Kimberly Trinidade produce the film under the banners of Krownstars Entertainment and Black Turtle Productions, respectively.
