The makers of Bhaskara Bharanam, the upcoming directorial venture of filmmaker-actor Roopesh Peethambaran, have announced that the film will hit theatres on June 26. The release date was unveiled through a new poster shared on social media. The project marks Roopesh’s return to direction after the 2015 film You Too Brutus. He had earlier helmed Theevram, starring Dulquer Salmaan in the lead.
Besides directing and writing, Roopesh plays the lead role in Bhaskara Bharanam, which also stars Ajay Pavithran, Sonika Meenakshi, Mitun M Das and Parvathy Kalarikkal in prominent roles. On the technical front, the film has cinematography by Uma Kumarapuram, music by Arun Thomas, and editing by Rashin Ahmed. Syam Ambadi is credited as an additional cinematographer.
Bhaskara Bharanam is produced by Arumugam K Gowda and Ruby Peethambaran under the banners of NICAFF and Good Fellas In Films, with Deepak Dinesh and Binoy C Babu serving as co-producers.
