The makers of the Parvathy Thiruvothu-starrer Pradhama Drishtiya Kuttakkar have announced the completion of filming following a 65-day shoot. The update was shared through the film’s official social media handles.
Directed by Shahad, who previously helmed films such as Prakashan Parakkatte and Anuragam, the upcoming investigative thriller was shot across Kottayam, Changanassery and Kuttanad. Billed as a police procedural rooted in the investigative genre, the film follows the professional life of a woman constable who joins the force through appointment after the death of her husband. Parvathy plays the central character, marking her first police role in a Malayalam film.
The cast of Pradhama Drishtiya Kuttakkar also includes Vijayaraghavan, Sai Kumar, Mathew Thomas, Vinay Forrt, Azeez Nedumangad, Sidharth Bharathan, Unnimaya Prasad and Tamil actor R Parthiban in key roles. The film is jointly scripted by PS Subramaniam and Vijesh Thottingal. Its technical crew includes cinematographer Roby Raj, editor Chaman Chakko, music director Mujeeb Majeed and art director Mahesh Mohan.
