After it was announced that VD Satheesan would become the next Chief Minister of Keralam, congratulatory messages from the Malayalam film fraternity poured in.

Taking to social media, actor Mohanlal wrote, "Heartfelt congratulations to the newly appointed Kerala Chief Minister Shri V D Satheesan. May his leadership successfully guide the state towards a new path of development."

Actor Mammootty taking to his X handle said, "Heartfelt congratulations to Shri VD Satheesan, appointed as the 13th Chief Minister of Keralam."

"Best wishes on your journey to build a new Kerala. Congratulations CM VD Satheesan," said Nivin Pauly. Earlier, Nivin shared a conversation with the Chief Minister designate, when the pair met at a college where VD Satheesan once spent his time as a student.

Actor Dulquer Salmaan also took to social media and wrote, "Heartfelt congratulations to VD Satheesan sir on being the Kerala Chief Minister elect. Looking forward to your first term and hoping you will take Kerala from strength to strength."
