The makers of Revolver Rinko, starring Vishnu Unnikrishnan in the lead, have announced that the film will release in theatres on May 8. Written and directed by Kiran Narayanan, it is billed as a family entertainer with a fantasy touch.

According to the makers, Revolver Rinko revolves around Priyesh (Vishnu), a young man who steps in to help a group of children realise their dreams, shaped by their fascination with supernatural characters. The film features a host of child actors, including Malikappuram-fame Sreepath Yan, Dhyan Niranjan, Adhisesh, Visad and Avani. The supporting cast includes Lalu Alex, Binu Sasiram, Vijeesh, Sanju Sivaram, Saju Navodaya, KPAC Mohammed, Ansha Mohan, Mareena Michael Kurisingal, Anjali Nair and Shiny Sarah, among others.

On the technical front, Revolver Rinko has cinematography by Faisal Ali, editing by Ayub Khan and music composed by Ranjin Raj, with lyrics penned by Kaithapram Damodaran Namboothiri. The film is backed by Tharaka Productions.
