Aadu 3: One Last Ride – Part 1 has taken an extraordinary start at the box office, with its worldwide gross nearing the ₹50 crore mark within just two days of release. According to official figures shared by the makers, the film has collected ₹48 crore in its opening weekend.

Written and directed by Midhun Manuel Thomas, the third instalment of the popular Aadu franchise reunites regulars including Jayasurya, Vinayakan, Sunny Wayne, Saiju Kurup, Dharamjan Bolgatty and Vijay Babu. The film ambitiously blends epic fantasy with the franchise’s signature slapstick humour, unfolding across three timelines: AD 2370, the present day, and AD 1790.

Despite ongoing tensions in the Gulf region due to the war situation, the makers stuck to their planned release, a decision that appears to have paid off, going by the strong box office performance.

The film is jointly produced by Vijay Babu’s Friday Film House and Venu Kunnappilly’s Kavya Films.
