Dhyan Sreenivasan-Devananda starrer Kalyanamaram gets a release date

Directed by Rajesh Amanakara, Kalyanamaram features Dhyan Sreenivasan as a schoolteacher named Sajin, while Devananda plays a school student named Mallika

The makers of Kalyanamaram, headlined by Dhyan Sreenivasan and child actor Devananda of Malikappuram fame, have announced that the film will hit theatres on March 27. Directed by Rajesh Amanakara, the upcoming family entertainer features Dhyan as a schoolteacher named Sajin, while Devananda plays a school student named Mallika. Rajesh previously directed the 2013 film Entry and had earlier co-directed Pranav Mohanlal's 2003 film Punarjani, alongside Major Ravi.

The cast of Kalyanamaram also includes Meera Vasudevan, Athira Patel, Prashant Murali, Manoj K U, Noby Marcose and Manju Vijeesh in key roles. The film's technical crew comprises cinematographer Rajeesh Raman, editor Rathin Radhakrishnan and music director Ajay Joseph. It is produced by Saji K Elias under the banner of Mariyem Cinema.

Meanwhile, Dhyan will next be seen as one of the leads in East Coast Vjayan's Bheeshmar alongside Vishnu Unnikrishnan. Billed as a fun entertainer, the film is scheduled to release on March 20, on the same weekend as biggies like Jayasurya’s Aadu 3: One Last Ride - Part 1 and Ranveer Singh’s Dhurandhar: The Revenge clash at the box office.
