Aadu 3, the third instalment in the popular action-comedy franchise that commenced in 2015, is gearing up to hit screens on March 19. The entire team, including lead actor Jayasurya, producer Vijay Babu and all other actors from the ensemble, is currently busy promoting the film.

In one of their recent interviews, Vinayakan, who plays the character Dude, revealed that he initially wanted to play the character of Arakkal Abu. He said that when director Midhun Manuel Thomas approached him for the first Aadu film, he was more drawn towards Abu's character, but the director suggested that Dude would suit him better. Abu's role was eventually played by Saiju Kurup, and it became a huge turning point in his career.

Aadu 3 sees the return of all the fan favourite characters from the first two instalments, along with newer additions to the cast. Unlike the previous parts, it also has a period setting as part of the narrative. Aadu 3 has also been confirmed to be released in two parts.
