Aju Varghese, a self-proclaimed fan of Mohanlal, couldn't contain his excitement upon seeing the superstar's new photos from his upcoming film L 366. The Tharun Moorthy directorial has Mohanlal returning to his famed handlebar moustache, which he made iconic in the early 90s and 2000s.

In his social media post, Aju wrote, "Neelan from Devasuram, Achu from Narasimham, Karthikeyan from Raavanaprabhu, and Velayudhan from Naran all flashed through the mind for a moment." But the actor also added that he is "waiting for the arrival of something entirely different."

L 366 marks the reunion of Mohanlal and Tharun, following the blockbuster success of Thudarum. The new film has Mohanlal in the role of T S Lovelajan, a police officer, while Meera Jasmine plays his wife, Naisy. The team has already wrapped up the first schedule of shooting. The film is produced by Ashiq Usman and scripted by Ratheesh Ravi, who earlier penned films like Pullikkaran Staraa, Ishq, and Adi.

Mohanlal also has two films gearing up for release in April. While Drishyam 3 is set to hit screens on April 2, Patriot, which marks his reunion with Mammootty on screen after a decade, is scheduled for release on April 23.
