Director Nisam Basheer's i, Nobody hit theatres on Thursday. Starring Prithviraj Sukumaran in the lead role, the film has opened to mixed reviews from critics and audiences. However, it remains to be seen how much of an effect the reviews for the film will have on its box office performance.
According to data from the industry tracker Sacnilk, the film grossed 2.55 crore from theatres worldwide on the opening day of its release. In net collection terms, it earned 2.20 crore from theatres, the tracker reports. On the second day of its release, the film has earned 51 lakh from theatres so far, according to information from Sacnilk. This takes the overall i, Nobody box office collection to 3.15 crore.
The film has brought Prithviraj and Parvathy Thiruvothu back together after their collaboration on 2018's Koode, directed by Anjali Menon. The two actors have also worked together on films such as City of God (2011), Ennu Ninte Moideen (2015), and My Story (2018).
Besides Prithviraj and Parvathy, the latest film also stars Hakim Shahjahan and Ashokan in important roles. The cast includes Vijayaraghavan, Madhupal, Shankar Ramakrishnan, Nakshathra, Aira, Nishanth Sagar, Nandhu, Noushad Bombay, Jijoy Rajagopal, Khalid Rahman, Sanju Sivaram, Sudhi Koppa, Beena Chandran, Sana Althaf, Krishnan Balakrishnan, Dineesh Alappuzha, Ronnie Varghese, Manoj KU, Irshad Ali, Sudhi Kozhikode, Mahendran, Albin Alex, and Jithin Madanan.
i, Nobody is Prithviraj Sukumaran's fourth film with a major role since the start of 2024. Since then, the actor starred as the lead in Aadujeevitham: The Goat Life, and Vilayath Buddha, as well as acting with Basil Joseph in Guruvayoorambala Nadayil. In between these films, he has played cameo roles in his own directorial venture L2: Empuraan, and Pallichattambi.
Interestingly, the latest film also has a song, titled 'Circus,' featuring the vocals of Prithviraj's daughter Alankrita.
