The makers of Avarachan & Sons, headlined by Biju Menon, unveiled the film's teaser on Friday, giving a glimpse into what appears to be a light-hearted family entertainer packed with humour, romance and family dynamics.

The teaser opens with Parvathy Babu's character questioning Ganapathi about how little he knows about her. When he asks about her hobbies, she cheekily replies, "I listen to everyone's sorrows... and then I go tell the whole world about it," before the teaser shifts to brief romantic moments between the two. The tone then moves to a conversation between Sreenath Bhasi and Ganapathi, with the former cautioning him about a decision that may not be as easy as it seems. "And did everyone ever listen?," Bhasi's character remarks in another scene.

A phone conversation between two elderly characters then introduces the titular Avarachan. While one describes Avarachan's son Jaimon as a good person, the mention of his father prompts a less flattering response. The teaser subsequently introduces Biju Menon as Avarachan, seen smoking inside a toilet. Pauly Valsan's voiceover further paints a picture of the character's unruly nature. The montage that follows showcases Avarachan's antics, including his awkward dance moves and various comic situations. One of the final exchanges sees Avarachan asking what the phrase "Avarachan rocks" means, only for someone to instantly reply, "Avarachan, you are the rock." The teaser concludes with a brief glimpse of Avarachan taking on a group of goons. The film promises to be a fun-filled lighthearted family entertainer.

Directed by debutant Thamby, who has co-written the screenplay with Joseph Vijeesh, Avarachan & Sons revolves around Avarachan, his children and the various family and social relationships that shape their lives. Thamby previously directed the Vishnu Agasthya-led 2021 web series Insomnia Nights.

Avarachan & Sons also stars Vinay Forrt, Johny Antony, Grace Antony, and Akhila Bhargavan in prominent roles. The supporting cast includes Sabumon Abdusamad, Kottayam Nazeer, Vineeth Thattil David, Sajan Palluruthi, Ashique Khalid, Sudhi Koppa, Sajin Cherukayil, Shaju Sreedhar and Nisha Sarang.

Produced by Listin Stephen under the Magic Frames banner, the film has cinematography by Sajith Purushan, editing by Akash Joseph Varghese and music by Sanal Dev. Having completed post-production, Avarachan & Sons is set to hit theatres soon.
