The makers of the Sharafudheen-starrer Madhuvidhu have announced that the film will be released in theaters on February 6. Directed by debutant Vishnu Aravind, it marks the acting debut of veteran actor Bindu Panicker’s daughter Kalyani Panicker, who plays the female lead.
Billed as a fun family entertainer, Madhuvidhu also stars Jagadish, Azees Nedumangad, Saikumar, Sreejaya, Amal Jose, and Sanju Madhu. Music is composed by Hesham Abdul Wahab, with cinematography by Viswajith Odukkathil and editing by Christy Sebastian.
The script is jointly written by Bibin Mohan, who previously co-wrote Shylock, and Jai Vishnu, one of the writers of Madhura Manohara Moham and The Pet Detective, both starring Sharaf. Madhuvidhu is produced by Vinayaka Ajith under the banner of Ajith Vinayaka Films.
Meanwhile, Sharaf's upcoming slate also includes Nivin Pauly-B Unnikrishnan's untitled political drama, Naslen-Abhinav Sunder Nayak's Mollywood Times, and Shyamin Gireesh's Medical Miracle, alongside Sangeeth Prathap.
