The makers of Patriot, starring Mammootty and Mohanlal, unveiled the film’s second look poster on Thursday, offering a glimpse of an intense action sequence from the upcoming espionage thriller. The new poster features a speeding car in the middle of a chase. Mohanlal is seen positioned on top of the vehicle, aiming a gun, while Mammootty fires from the right side. Kunchacko Boban appears tense in the driving seat, suggesting a high-stakes pursuit.

Directed by Mahesh Narayanan, Patriot is slated for a worldwide theatrical release on April 23, 2026. The film has generated considerable anticipation as it reunites Mammootty and Mohanlal on screen after a long gap. Fahadh Faasil, who is also part of the cast, had earlier confirmed that he plays the antagonist opposite the two veteran stars. The ensemble cast further includes Nayanthara, Rajeev Menon, Darshana Rajendran, Zarin Shihab, Revathy, Jinu Joseph, Danish Husain, Shaheen Siddique, Sanal Aman and Prakash Belawadi.

Produced by Anto Joseph, with CR Salim and Subhash Manuel serving as co-producers, Patriot was shot across multiple locations, including the UK, Sri Lanka, New Delhi, Hyderabad, Kashmir and Kochi. Post-production work, including dubbing, is currently progressing at a rapid pace. Mammootty and Mohanlal have recently completed their dubbing portions. The technical team includes cinematographer Manush Nandan and music director Sushin Shyam, with editing handled by Mahesh alongside Rahul Radhakrishnan.
