With only a few months to go for the release of Patriot, actor Mohanlal has completed dubbing for his portions in the film. PRO Yuvraj made the announcement through social media with a video, where Mohanlal can be seen walking out of a Range Rover and into a studio to dub for his character in it. "Some voices do not just speak, they define moments," he wrote in the caption for the post.

As reported earlier, the film, written and directed by Mahesh Narayanan, also stars Mammootty, Fahadh Faasil, Nayanthara, Kunchacko Boban, Revathy, and Darshana Rajendran, among others.

Patriot reunites Mohanlal with Mammootty for the first time after a brief appearance together on 2013's Kadal Kadannu Oru Maathukutty, directed by Ranjith. While the makers released a teaser recently, they are yet to reveal plot specifics.

The film is produced by Anto Joseph under his namesake banner. Director Mahesh Narayanan also doubles up as one of the two editors for the film, with the other being Rahul Radhakrishnan. On the technical front, it also has music by Sushin Shyam, cinematography by Manush Nandan, and stunts by Dhilip Subbarayan, Stunt Silva, Mafia Sasi, and Riyas- Habib.

Coming back to Mohanlal, the actor has multiple projects at various stages of production. He is coming back together with his Drishyam director Jeethu Joseph for a third chapter in the long-running franchise. At the same time, he stars as a police officer named Lovelajan in his 366th film, directed by his Thudarum filmmaker Tharun Moorthy. His other projects include one with director Vishnu Mohan and a cameo in the first part of Khalifa, starring Prithviraj Sukumaran in the lead. While the first part of Khalifa will see the legendary actor playing a cameo, the second one will give him more prominence.

Meanwhile, Patriot is slated for an April 23 release.
