We had earlier reported about Golam director Samjad reuniting with its lead actor Ranjith Sajeev for a vampire action film. The makers of the film titled Half have unveiled a new poster featuring Ranjith, Officer on Duty-fame Aiswarya Raj, and Amala Paul. Popular South Indian actor Abbas is also making his comeback with this film.

According to the makers, Half, grounded in vampire mythology, explores themes of identity, duality, survival, and vengeance. The film, which comes with 'The Chronicles of Two Half-Blooded Vampires', has Ranjith playing one of the half-blooded protagonists, while Aiswarya Raj essays the other central role. It is co-written by Samjad and Praveen Viswanath, who also collaborated on Golam.

Half has cinematography by Pappinu and music by Rorschach-fame Midhun Mukundan. Editor Mahesh Bhuvanend and production designer Mohandas, who won the National awards for Attam and 2018, respectively, are also part of the technical team. Action choreography is handled by Hollywood stunt expert Very Tri Yulisman.
