The makers of the Sajin Gopu-Nikhila Vimal starrer Dhoomakethu have unveiled a new poster for Onam. The poster offers another quirky glimpse into the film, featuring Sajin, Nikhila and Ganapathi, with Sajin seen stripping off his mundu and running.
Directed by Sudhi Maddison of Neymar fame, Dhoomakethu is scheduled to hit theatres on September 11. The film's release date was announced earlier alongside a poster and promotional video. It marks Sajin and Nikhila's first pairing.
Penned by Sonny and Manu, Dhoomakethu also stars Shine Tom Chacko and Siddharth Bharathan in prominent roles. The technical crew includes cinematographer Jinto George, editor Chaman Chakko and composer Justin Varghese. Produced by Sameer Thahir, Shyju Khalid, Sajin Ali and Abbas Thirunavaya, the film is jointly backed by Happy Hours Entertainments and A & HS Production House. Further details about its genre and plot are being kept under wraps.
Sajin, best known for his breakout performance as Ambaan in Fahadh Faasil’s Aavesham, has notable appearances in Ponman, Painkili and Churuli.
Nikhila, who was last seen in Ananthan Kaadu, also has the JioHotstar series Anali in the pipeline.
