The makers of the Nivin Pauly-Mamitha Baiju-starrer Bethlehem Kudumba Unit have made a request to audiences amid the film's strong box-office run: to not record or share snippets and key scenes from theatres on social media. The Bhavana Studios-backed film's team shared a message on social media on Monday with the caption, “REQUEST YOUR ATTENTION”, thanking audiences for the response while urging them to preserve the theatrical experience for others.

“Thank you for the global blockbuster love! We're overwhelmed by the unprecedented bookings and the incredible joy you're bringing to theatres. A humble request: Kindly avoid recording or sharing theatre snippets and key scenes on social media. Let everyone experience the magic and surprises of the film on the big screen. Let's keep the experience special for everyone. See you at the theatres! With love, Bhavana Studios,” the makers said.

The request comes as Bethlehem Kudumba Unit continues its impressive run after opening in theatres on Friday. According to box office tracker Sacnilk's latest figures, the film grossed ₹61.05 crore worldwide by the end of its third day on Sunday. Its India gross stands at ₹24.35 crore, including an India net of ₹20.85 crore, while the overseas gross has reached ₹36.70 crore. The film's India and overseas shares currently stand at 39.89% and 60.11%, respectively.

Bethlehem Kudumba Unit has also recorded a strong response in advance bookings for Monday in Kerala. With ₹4.33 crore from 1,827 shows and 51.28% occupancy in advance bookings, the romantic comedy currently ranks second among the top Monday advance bookings in Kerala, only behind Mohanlal's L2: Empuraan, which has ₹7.51 crore from 2,614 shows. It is ahead of Thudarum (₹4.18 crore), Drishyam 3 (₹3.98 crore), Vaazha 2 (₹3.57 crore) and Lokah Chapter 1: Chandra (₹2.51 crore) in the current list.

Directed by Girish AD, Bethlehem Kudumba Unit is scripted by the filmmaker with his Premalu co-writer Kiran Josey. The ensemble cast includes Suresh Krishna, Bindu Panicker, Vinay Forrt, Roshan Shanavas, Shyam Mohan, Shameer Khan, Srinda, Parvathy Ayyappadas and Meenakshi Raveendran, among others.

Dileesh Pothan, Fahadh Faasil and Syam Pushkaran have produced Bethlehem Kudumba Unit under the banner of Bhavana Studios, the production house behind Premalu, which emerged as a major box-office success in 2024.
