The Neeraj Madhav-starrer Pluto will have its digital premiere on Saina Play on August 24. The film, which hit screens on July 30, is a science-fiction comedy about human-alien interaction. Upon its theatrical release, it received mixed reviews and failed to make an impact at the box office.

An excerpt from CE's review of the film reads, "Pluto is never outright tedious, even if much of it feels underwhelming. There are flashes of imagination and the occasional laugh, but they are never enough to make the film linger."

Pluto is directed by Adithyan Chandrashekar, who made his directorial debut with the 2023 romantic comedy Enkilum Chandrike. Scripted by Niyas Muhammed, it stars Althaf Salim as an alien. Mukundan Unni Associates-fame Arsha Chandini Baiju, Aju Varghese, Dinesh Prabhakar, Subin SB and Vineeth Thattil David also star in key roles.

The technical crew includes cinematographer Vishnu Sarma, editor Sanath Sivaraj and music composer Arcado. The film is produced by Reju Kumar and Resmi Reju under the banner of Orchid Films International, with Jayakrishnan RK serving as executive producer.

Adithyan also has a film with Nivin Pauly in the pipeline. Titled Multiverse Manmadhan, it is a fantasy entertainer currently in pre-production and backed by the actor's banner Pauly Jr Pictures.
