Ullas Chemban's Disco adds Phars Film founder Ahmad Golchin as co-producer; first look on the way

Ahmad Golchin of Phars Film has joined Ullas Chemban's Disco as a co-producer, alongside Chemban Vinod Jose of Chembosky Motion Pictures. The makers announced the development on Sunday, also updating that the film's first look will be unveiled on August 17. It marks Ullas Chemban's second directorial venture after the 2024 action drama Anchakkallakokkan.

Scripted by Chemban, Disco features an ensemble cast comprising Antony Varghese Pepe, Arjun Ashokan, Lukman Avaran, Dev, Chemban, Sreenath Bhasi and Vishnu Unnikrishnan. The film reunites Ullas with several of his Anchakkallakokkan collaborators, including cinematographer Armo, editor Rohit VS Variyath and composer Manikandan Ayyappa. Details regarding the plot, genre and release plans are yet to be revealed.

The Iranian-born film entrepreneur Ahmad Golchin founded Dubai-based Phars Film in 1964 and has played a pioneering role in developing film distribution and exhibition in the Middle East. The company has also come on board as the worldwide theatrical distributor of Disco.
