The first single from Jayasurya's military actioner Operation Tral was released ahead of Independence Day. The song 'Jai Ho' is a powerful patriotic track in Hindi, celebrating the pride and spirit of the nation. Ratheesh Vega, who is making his directorial debut with this film, has composed the song. It is sung by Sudhir Yaduvanshi, popular for rendering the hit song 'Aari Aari' from Dhurandhar: The Revenge. Irshad Dalal has penned the lyrics.

Operation Tral is an investigative thriller set against the backdrop of national intelligence operations. It revolves around a deadly convoy attack in Kashmir by militants and the intelligence operations that follow. Jayasurya plays an National Investigation Agency (NIA) officer named Harshavardhan in it.

The film also stars Ritika Singh, Murali Sharma, Vinay Rai, Siddique, Sai Kumar, Nandalal Krishnamoorthy, Kavya Shetty, Anson Paul, and Sirajudheen among others. Hindi actors like Vikram Kochhar, Yash Pal Gera, Mir Sarwar, Chandan Bisht, Hansika Jangid, Vaani Dogra, Jai Thakore, Vijay Trivedi and Manhar Singh Trivia are also part of the cast.

Operation Tral, which was recently wrapped up, has been shot across multiple locations including Kerala, Coimbatore, New Delhi, Kulu, Manali, Mussoorie and Ladakh. It is gearing up for a worldwide release in Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Hindi.

Produced by Joby George Thadathil under the banner of Goodwill Entertainments, the film has Sunimol Joby as co-producer. Ratheesh Vega handles the writing and direction, while also composing the music and background score. Cinematography is by Najose and editing by Shafeeque VB.
