Former Indian Cricket Team member and fast bowler, S Sreesanth, is a controversial figure in the world of cricket. Known for his impeccable control over the seam position and the prodigious swing he exerts on the Test cricket ball, Sreesanth also courted controversy for his aggression and more so for his alleged role in the 2013 IPL spot fixing. The Patiala House Courts found the pacer, alongside his Rajasthan Royals teammates Ajit Chandila and Ankeet Chavan, not guilty in the much-documented case. However, spot fixing allegations kept haunting him throughout his career, and the BCCI kept the ban enforced on him for years, effectively ending his international and competitive cricket career at an early stage.

Sreesanth has often pleaded innocence and argued that he was framed in the 2013 IPL spot fixing incident. The fast bowler has made a new revelation in his recent interview with Mathrubhumi.

During the conversation, he reveled that preparations are underway on a biopic, an English series, based on his life. "Pre-production work is underway on the series," the cricketer said about the biopic. He added that the Sreesanth biopic will chronicle the events from 2013 and will expose the truth about what happened back then.

"It is unbelievable as to who was part of it and was not part of it, and what exactly transpired," the cricketer hailing from Ernakulam, Kerala, said. He added that the biopic "will be an inspirational" series and not a "controversial" one. "It will be a love story—one exploring the love of an innocent boy who spent time in Kakkoor and Kothamangalam towards the game."

The cricket is yet to reveal whether he himself will star in the series or whether it will have a different actor playing the role.
