The film has hit theatres in the Telugu states.

Meanwhile, actor Ram Charan also followed in on Nani's footsteps, expressing his support for the Malayalam blockbuster. Vaazha II team met the superstar on the set of his upcoming film Peddi. Sharing a still featuring him with the team behind the Malayalam blockbuster, Ram Charan wrote, "Had a great time catching up with the team of Vaazha 2. A film that turned into a massive blockbuster in Malayalam, is now set to arrive for the Telugu audience. Glad to see Sahu Garapati and Archana bringing this film to a wider audience. The Telugu release of Vaazha 2 is happening through Sahu Garapati's distribution company, Shine Screens, and comes after the Malayalam original crossed more than 200 crore at the global box office. It is only the fifth Malayalam film to gross over 200 crore from theatres worldwide. With no major releases in Malayalam cinema until May 01, the film is expected to continue its successful run for a few more days at the very least. Keen followers of Malayalam cinema trends are looking forward to seeing whether the film will break Lokah's recording of being the highest-grossing film in the industry.
