The Vaazha franchise appears poised for further expansion, with filmmaker Vipin Das hinting on Monday that an announcement regarding its third instalment will be made on Tuesday. Vipin, who has penned both films in the series and serves as one of its co-producers, shared a post on social media featuring a close-up image of his hand with three fingers raised. The post was accompanied by the caption, “Vaazha grows; 💛 See you all tomorrow !!”.
The development comes as Vaazha II: Biopic of a Billion Bros, directed by Savin SA, continues its strong run in theatres. Vaazha 2, headlined by social media stars Hashir, Alan, Vinayak and Ajin, has reportedly grossed more than ₹150 crore worldwide, reinforcing the franchise’s unprecedented commercial success. The franchise began with Anand Menen's 2024 hit Vaazha: Biopic of a Billion Boys, led by Joemon Jyothir, Siju Sunny, Amith Mohan Rajeswari, Anuraj O B, Saafboi and Anshid Anu.
No further details about the third instalment have been disclosed so far.
