There has been much speculation about a cameo by Prithviraj Sukumaran in director Dijo Jose Antony's upcoming film Pallichattambi, starring Tovino Thomas in the lead role. The makers are yet to confirm the rumours about the actor's brief appearance in the film, even as its Wikipedia page mentions it.

Meanwhile, at a recent promotional event, actor Tovino addressed a reporter's question about whether the speculation is true or not. Responding to the reporter, the actor said, "When I talk about that, I think it will be better to wait till April 10." The actor gave this response with a smile and a wink, so the speculation about Prithviraj's cameo in Pallichattambi might hold some truth to it, after all.

It is worth noting that Tovino Thomas worked with Prithviraj in films such as Ennu Ninte Moideen, Lucifer, and L2: Empuraan. He has often credited Prithviraj for playing a big part in his career.

For the uninitiated, Prithviraj starred in Dijo's 2022 film Jana Gana Mana as an advocate fighting for justice. Is he reuniting with Dijo in Pallichattambi? It appears that we will have to wait for the film to release this Friday for the answer.

Written by S Suresh Babu, the film also stars Vijayaraghavan and Kayadu Lohar in important roles. The ensemble cast includes actors such as Prashanth Alexander, Baburaj, Mridhul Mukesh, Nibraz, Midhun Venugopal, Eldho Mathew, Devika Anoop, Josekutty, Unni Raja, Johny Antony, TG Ravi, Sreejith Ravi, Sudheer Karamana, and Siddique, among others.

Its technical team includes composer Jakes Bejoy, cinematographer Tijo Tomy, editor Sreejith Sarang, production designer Dileep Nath, and stunt choreographer Action Sandhosh. The film is produced by Noufal and Brijeesh of World Wide Films and the CCC Brothers through the banners World Wide Films and C Cube Bros.
