Pallichattambi trailer: Tovino Thomas counters police brutality in period drama

The trailer comes only five days ahead of the film's theatrical release

Earlier this Sunday, the makers of Pallichattambi dropped the full trailer for the film, directed by Dijo Jose Antony and starring Tovino Thomas in the lead role. The Pallichattambi trailer promises a gritty action thriller set in the 1950s, where Tovino's character leads a revolution against an oppressive law enforcement system in a village.

The movie is directed by Dijo from a screenplay by S Suresh Babu, known for titles such as Dada Sahib, Oruthee, and Shikkar. Dijo is known for films such as Queen, Jana Gana Mana with Prithviraj Sukumaran, and Malayalee From India with Nivin Pauly.

Coming back to Pallichattambi, the film also stars Kayadu Lohar and Vijayaraghavan in important roles. The cast includes Baburaj, Prashanth Alexander, Mridhul Mukesh, Midhun Venugopal, Nibraz, Eldho Mathew, Josekutty, Devika Anoop, Unni Raja, Johny Antony, TG Ravi, Sreejith Ravi, Sudheer Karamana, and Siddique, among others. According to reports, Prithviraj also plays a cameo role in the film.

On the technical front, Pallichattambi has composer Jakes Bejoy, cinematographer Tijo Tomy, editor Sreejith Sarang, production designer Dileep Nath, and stunt choreographer Action Sandhosh.

Production on the film has been wrapped. Produced by Noufal and Brijeesh of World Wide Films and the CCC Brothers through the banners World Wide Films and C Cube Bros, Pallichattambi is slated for an April 10 release in theatres. Meanwhile, here is a link to the Pallichattambi trailer:
