Vijay Prakash, the voice behind the popular song 'Om Namo Bhagavate Vasudevaya' from Mahavatar Narasimha, is set to collaborate with music director Sam CS on a new composition. Sam, who is onboard the Mohanal starrer Vrusshabha, announced the collaboration through social media. In his post, Sam wrote, "From the soul-stirring 'Om Namo Bhavateya' to yet another magical creation together. So happy to have the powerhouse Vijay Prakash VP sir lend his voice once again to my composition. Every note, every word – elevated with his energy and soul Grateful for this musical journey. Moments from our session together. More magic coming soon." While Sam CS did not specify which project they are working on, he wrote Vrusshabha with a hashtag underneath the main announcement post.
Direted by Nanda Kishore, Vrusshabha stars Mohanlal as a warrior king. The film, which also has a period storyline, also stars Samarjit Lankesh, Roshan Meka, Ragini Dwivedi, Shanaya Kapoor, Srikanth Meka, and Zara Khan.
Vrusshabha is produced by Shobha Kapoor, Ektaa R Kapoor, CK Padma Kumar, Varun Mathur, Saurabh Mishra, Abishek S Vyas, Praveer Singh, Vishal Gurnani, and Juhi Parekh Mehta. The film is presented by Connekkt Media and Balaji Telefilms in association with Abishek S Vyas Studios.
Besides Sam CS, the film's technical team also includes cinematographer Antony Samson, editor KM Prakash, production designers Mohan B Kere and Nanditha Singh, as well as stunt choreographers Peter Hein, Nikhil, and Stunt Silva. It is slated for an October 16 release in theatres.
