The makers of Dies Irae, Pranav Mohanlal’s upcoming horror thriller, announced on Tuesday through social media that the film’s trailer will be unveiled on October 1 at 11 am.

Written and directed by Rahul Sadasivan, Dies Irae is produced by Night Shift Studios and YNOT Studios and marks a reunion of the core crew behind Rahul's  Bramayugam. The technical team of the upcoming film includes cinematographer Shehnad Jalal, editor Shafique Mohammed Ali, composer Christo Xavier and production designer Jothish Shankar. Joining Pranav in the cast are Sookshmadarshini actor Manohari Joy and Jibin Gopinath.

Dies Irae takes its title from the Latin phrase meaning “Day of Wrath”, derived from a medieval hymn linked to judgement and mortality. With its Halloween release set for October 31, the film has been among the most talked-about horror films of the year.

Pranav was last seen in Vineeth Sreenivasan's Varshangalkku Shesham, co-starring Dhyan Sreenivasan.
