Indrans-Meenakshi Anoop starrer Private gets a release date

Private is billed as a feel-good road trip dramedy based on true events revolving around a young girl (Meenakshi) and an elderly man (Indrans)

Private, headlined by veteran actor Indrans and Oppam-fame Meenakshi Anoop, will hit theatres on October 10. The announcement was made by the makers through social media, along with the unveiling of a new poster featuring the lead actors. The film is written and directed by debutant Deepak Deon.

Private, billed as a feel-good road trip dramedy based on true events, revolving around a young girl (Meenakshi) and an elderly man (Indrans), also features Aanandam actor Annu Antony in a prominent role. On the technical front, the film has cinematography by Faisal Ali, editing by Jaya Krishna, music by Aswin Sathya, and sound design by Ajayan Adat. It is produced by VK Shabeer under the banner of C’Factor The Entertainment Company.

Indrans is also headlining the Malayalam-Tamil bilingual Chinna Chinna Aasai, co-starring Madhoo in the lead, and Guppy director Johnpaul George's Aashaan. Additionally, he is part of the Suriya-starrer Karuppu.

Best known for her appearance as the child actor alongside Mohanlal in the 2016 Priyadarshan directorial Oppam, Meenakshi was last seen in Kunchacko Boban’s investigative thriller Officer On Duty, directed by Jithu Ashraf and written by Shahi Kabir.
