The production banner behind debutant director Jithin T Suresh's Dheeram, Remo Entertainmentz dropped a teaser for the film a while ago. The teaser hints at an intense thriller following Indrajith Sukumaran's righteous police officer in pursuit of a criminal. The teaser begins with Indrajith's character reading out what seems like a passage from the Bible about the righteous and the cruel. It then gives glimpses of the cop inspecting case files as well as potential pieces of evidence and crime locations. The film's tagline reads, "For every crime there is a punishment."

Haris Ambazhathingal and Remosh MS are producing the film under their banners Malabar Talkies and Remo Entertainmentz, respectively. The film also features actors such as Sagar Surya of Pani fame, Divya Pillai, Avanthika Mohan, Nishanth Sagar, Roshan Basheer, Aju Varghese, Sajal Sudarshan, and Reba Monica John. It has a screenplay by Deepu S Nair and Sandeep Sadanandan, who are known for their work on the Dhyan Sreenivasan starrer Ore Mukham as well as Siju Wilson and Balu Varghese’s Pushpaka Vimanam.

The film's technical team includes cinematographer Sougandh SU, editor Nagooran Ramachandran, as well as music and background score by Manikandan Ayyappa. The makers of Dheeram are yet to announce a release date for the film. However, according to a press release, it is set to release theatrically this November.
