Asif Ali has shared that his upcoming big-ticket action film Tiki Taka, directed by Rohith VS, is not a project that can be wrapped up in one continuous schedule. Speaking during the promotions of Jeethu Joseph’s Mirage, set to hit theatres on September 19, the actor said the film demands intense physical effort, making extended shoots impossible.

Tiki Taka is a film that requires a lot of physical strain. That is why we cannot shoot it in one go. If we shoot for 10 to 15 days, we take a break of five days. Otherwise, if done in a single stretch, it will exhaust us completely,” Asif said.

The Kishkindha Kaandam actor, who underwent a major body transformation for his role, added that he is approaching the film with caution. “I am not making any big promises about the film because the so-called big films we woke up early to watch at 6 am have often left a negative impact. Tiki Taka is a film I have never done before, a film I truly wanted to do. I am attempting it in search of its best possible version,” he said.

Set for a Christmas 2025 release, Tiki Taka is billed as the most ambitious film of Asif’s career. The action entertainer also stars Lukman Avaran, Wamiqa Gabbi, Naslen, Sanchana Natarajan, Harisree Ashokan and Santhosh Prathap. Produced by Juvis Production in association with Adventures Company, the film has music by Dawn Vincent, cinematography by Sony Seban, and editing by Chaman Chakko.
