The makers of Vala - Story of a Bangle announced on Tuesday that the film will release in theatres on September 19. The update was shared through social media along with a new poster.

Directed by Muhashin, who made his debut with Kadina Kadoramee Andakadaham, the upcoming comedy-mystery stars Dhyan Sreenivasan, Lukman Avaran, Vijayaraghavan, Shanthi Krishna, Raveena Ravi, and Sheethal Joseph in key roles. Produced by Fairbay Films in its maiden venture, the film is scripted by Harshad, best known for his work in Mammootty starrers Puzhu and Unda.

The makers describe Vala as “a whimsical mystery wrapped around a bangle”. The film also marks the acting debut of composer Govind Vasantha, who is handling the music. The supporting cast includes Abu Salim, Navas Vallikunnu, Arjun Radhakrishnan, Shafi Kollam, Gokulan, and Yusuf Bhai.

The technical crew includes cinematographer Afnas V, editor Siddique Hyder, and production designer Arshad Nakkoth.
