Speculation is rife about composer Shaan Rahman's exit from Dileep's upcoming film Bha Bha Ba, directed by Dhananjay Shankar from Noorin Shereef and Fahim Safar's screenplay. According to News18 Kerala, Shaan might no longer be part of the film or its producer, Gokulam Gopalan's Sree Gokulam Movies, might bring another composer on board to work alongside him. Shaan's name is mentioned in the glimpse video for the film, which the makers dropped on Dileep's birthday on Monday to announce its theatrical release date. However, reports suggest that he might exit the project for reasons unknown hitherto. At the same time, Shaan's social media does not have any Bha Bha Ba-related promotional material as of now. Shaan is yet to respond to the speculation, and the makers are yet to give any official word on his involvement in the project.

Meanwhile, the makers are gearing up for the film's December 18 release. Described as a crazy entertainer, the film also stars Mohanlal in a cameo role. It brings Mohanlal back together with Dileep after 2011's China Town. The cast includes Vineeth Sreenivasan, Balu Varghese, Sandy Master, Dhyan Sreenivasan, Baiju Santhosh, Saranya Ponvannan, Ashokan, Devan, Maniyanpilla Raju, Redin Kingsley, Sidharth Bharathan, and Vijay Menon, among others.

On the technical front, it has editor Ranjan Abraham and cinematographer Armo.
