The makers of directors CC Nithin and Gautham Thaniyil's upcoming romantic comedy Athibheekara Kaamukan released the trailer for the film a while ago. The film stars Lukman Avaran as a youngster named Arjun, who completed his higher secondary education years ago, but whose family accuses him of spending time idling away with friends. "He has no concern for our home or me," the protagonist's mother (Manohari Joy) says in the Athibheekara Kaamukan trailer. Subsequently, they decide to send him back to college again, and the film follows his adventures there, including his love life with a college mate (Happy Wedding fame Drishya Raghunath).

Nithin and Gautham have directed the film from a Sujai Mohanraj screenplay. It reunites Lukman with his Corona Dhavan director Nithin.

Ashwin and Karthik are also part of the film's cast. Deepti Gautham, director Gautham, V Mathiyalagan, and Sam George are the producers of the film, featuring director Nithin and writer Sujay serving as co-producers. Pink Bison Studios and Etcetera Entertainments are the banners associated with the film.

On the technical front, the romantic comedy has cinematographer Sreeram Chandrasekharan, composer Bibin Ashok, and editor Ajeesh Anand. Athibheekara Kaamukan is slated for a November 14 release in theatres.
