The makers of Magic Mushrooms, directed by Nadirshah and headlined by Vishnu Unnikrishnan, unveiled the film’s first look on Monday on the occasion of Diwali. The poster features 3D caricatures of the primary cast boxed inside separate rooms. Nadirshah reunites with Vishnu after Amar Akbar Antony and Kattappanayile Rithwik Roshan.
Magic Mushrooms, scripted by Akash Dev, is billed as a feel-good family entertainer. The film stars Akshaya Udayakumar as the female lead opposite Vishnu, alongside Harisree Ashokan, Jaffer Idukki, Johny Antony, Biju Kuttan and Sidharth Bharathan. Shot across Thodupuzha, Erattupetta and Ottapalam, it has cinematography by Sujith Vaassudev, editing by John Kutty and background score by Manikandan Ayyappa. Nadirshah has also composed the songs.
Magic Mushrooms is produced by Ashraf Pilakkal under the banner of Manjadi Creation, with distribution handled by Bhavana Studios.
