An audio clip, which allegedly features Ajmal Amir's face and voice, has been doing the rounds on social media over the last few days. In the clip, a man's voice can be heard making inappropriate comments to a woman. Screenshots featuring indecent messages, allegedly from Ajmal, have also gone viral on the internet. The other day, Ajmal responded to the allegations through Instagram. In his response, he said, "No fabricated story, AI voice imitating, or brilliant editing can destroy me or my career. I am an individual who has proven himself in two bigger industries than this, by God's grace, and who is surviving." The actor went on to talk about his lack of managers, publicists, and even social media handles. "A social media profile, which my fans once created, has been in existence for a long time now. However, from today onwards, I will personally handle everything on social media," Ajmal revealed.

Ajmal Amir then said that he is aware of the controversy allegedly involving him and expressed his gratitude to everyone who supported him on social media. The actor also shared that he feels much respect for a section of the population who has been putting out "back-to-back defamatory posts" against him for their "love and care towards society". However, the actor underscored the support that he has received from many in the wake of the controversy. "The strength I gained from your messages and calls is the main reason why I am doing this video, sitting in front of you today," said Ajmal before adding, "You are my driving force."

At the end of the post, Ajmal shared that he is in Dubai for some of his projects. "Thank you so much for everyone who has supported me. I am well and good," he concluded. The actor responded to one of the comments to the video, which suggested that the explanation is not genuine. Referring to the viral clip attributed to him, the actor wrote, "Please go through the video couple of times and ask a basic reel editor they will clear your doubts."
