Actor-filmmaker Basil Joseph’s maiden production under his newly launched banner Basil Joseph Entertainment is set to take a key step forward this week. The title teaser of the company’s debut film, produced in association with Dr Ananthu Entertainment, will be unveiled on October 18 at 11:11 am.

Basil had earlier stated that his production venture aims to support “better and bolder stories”. The upcoming film marks the first collaboration between Basil Joseph Entertainment and Dr Ananthu Entertainment, headed by Dr Ananthu S, founder and CEO of Xylem Learning. Further details about the film’s cast and crew are expected to be revealed alongside the teaser launch.

Industry speculation suggests that the first production under Basil Joseph Entertainment will mark the directorial debut of Arun Anirudhan, co-writer of Minnal Murali and Padayottam. Reports indicate that the project will feature Tovino Thomas, Vineeth Sreenivasan and Basil himself, though no official confirmation has been made.

Basil was last seen in a cameo appearance in Mohanlal-Sathyan Anthikad’s Hridayapoorvam. He is also part of Sudha Kongara’s upcoming Tamil film Parasakthi, led by Sivakarthikeyan.
