Mammootty has landed in London to begin the next leg of Patriot, filmmaker Mahesh Narayanan’s much-anticipated political espionage thriller. The update was shared by the film’s producer, Anto Joseph, through his official social media handles on Monday.

Anto posted a video showing Mammootty arriving at the London International Airport with his entourage. In the clip, the veteran actor can be seen warmly greeting fans who gathered to welcome him, smiling and exchanging pleasantries before heading out of the terminal in a Rolls-Royce car.

The London schedule marks a key phase of Patriot, which recently wrapped up its Hyderabad leg earlier this month. The new schedule is expected to kick off on October 15 and continue through mid-December.

Produced by Anto Joseph along with C R Salim and Subhash Manuel, the film brings together a powerhouse cast that also includes Mohanlal, Fahadh Faasil, Kunchacko Boban, Nayanthara, Revathy, Darshana Rajendran and Zarin Shihab. Cinematographer Manush Nandan, known for Dunki and Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani, is behind the camera.

Set against a backdrop of power, surveillance and state control, Patriot is being billed as a high-stakes political thriller and one of the most ambitious Malayalam films in recent years. The teaser, released earlier this year, generated huge excitement among fans, particularly for the reunion of Mammootty and Mohanlal on screen after more than a decade. The film is slated for a grand Vishu 2026 release.

Meanwhile, Mammootty will next be seen in Kalamkaval, which is reportedly hitting theatres in November.
