Bobby Kurian, star of Pani, joins Vismaya Mohanlal in Thudakkam

The actor shared a still, which looks like his character's picture, from the film's set, and wrote, "Thudangi (started)"

The other day, we reported about the commencement of production on Vismaya Mohanlal's acting debut Thudakkam, directed by Jude Anthany Joseph of Ohm Shanthi Oshaana and 2018: Everyone Is A Hero fame. Meanwhile, Bobby Kurian, known for his role in actor-director Joju George's film Pani (2024) and a close friend of Mohanlal, also confirmed that he is part of the film's cast. The actor shared a still, which looks like his character's picture, from the film's set, and wrote, "Thudangi (started)." He tagged Vismaya Mohanlal and the film's makers in the post. In the comments section, an entrepreneur expressed his excitement to watch the actor onscreen again, and the latter responded to it with love and two-hands-up emoticons.

Antony Perumbavoor is producing Thudakkam under his Aashirvad Cinemas banner. The film also stars Aashish Joe Antony, the producer's son, in a lead role alongside Vismaya Mohanlal. Jude is directing the film from a screenplay he has written alongside Linish Nellikkal and Akhil Krishna.

On the technical front, the film has cinematography by Jomon T John, editing by Chaman Chakko, music by Jakes Bejoy, stunts by Yannick Ben and Stunt Silva, and sound design by Vishnu Govind. Director called it an intimate family story. The makers of the film are yet to reveal further details about it.
