Films selected for 30th IFFK's Malayalam Cinema Today announced

The Kerala State Chalachithra Academy on Friday announced the list of films selected for the Malayalam Cinema Today category at the 30th International Film Festival of Kerala (IFFK), scheduled to be held in Thiruvanathapuram from December 12 to 19, 2025.

Jeo Baby's Ebb and actor Rajesh Madhavan's directorial debut Pennum Porattum (Girl and the Fools Parade) are among the twelve films selected. While Ebb stars Divyaprabha, Jitin Puthenchery, and Jeo Baby as the leads, Pennum Porattum has a largely fresh cast.

Other selected films include Samastha Loka (All the Living) by Sherry Govindan, Ambrosia by Adhithya Baby, Kathirippu (Await) by Nipin Narayanan, Shavapetti (The Coffin) by Rinoshun K, Aadhi Snehathinte Virunnu Mesha (The Banquet of Primal Love) by Mini IG, Sheshippu (The Remnant) by Sreejith S Kumar and Gritto Vincent, Anyarude Akashangal (The Stolen Skies) by Sreekumar K, Oru Apasarpaka Katha (OAK) by Arun Vardhan, Moham (Desire) by Fazil Razak, and Chavu Kalyanam (Celebration of Death) by Vishnu B Beena.

The International Competition of the 30th IFFK also has two Malayalam films—Life of a Phallus by Unnikrishnan Avala and Khidki Gaav (If on a Winter's Night) by Sanju Surendran.
