The chorus of supporters keeps growing for Gouri Kishan in the latest row regarding a reporter disgracing her and body-shaming her during a press meet for her film Others. Expressing their solidarity with the actor on the issue, the Association of Malayalam Movie Artists wrote, "AMMA understands your pain, Gouri. And we strongly believe that it is wrong to engage in body-shaming - irrespective of who does it, when and where."

On the other hand, Parvathy Thiruvothu shared the actor's reaction to the reporter and wrote, "Kudos to Gouri Kishan for clocking this insane, unacceptable behaviour. The entitlement of the journalist, his ego is on display here." Parvathy also questioned the Others team's silence on the issue at the time Gouri responded to the journalist. "Also, how is the producer/director who is facilitating this press meet not speaking up?! Oh sure, the void that's support and allyship."

Meanwhile, Rajisha Vijayan called the reporter's actions against the values of journalism, calling it "just insensitivity". The actor also wrote, "Thank you for standing up for so many women and actors out there. You said exactly what needed to be said! Still, there are so many people who don't even know what real journalism means."

Gouri comes from a journalism background.

Pearly Maaney, Namitha Pramod, Nyla Usha, Reba Monica John, and Krithi Shetty, among others, also supported Gouri.
