Anend C Chandran has replaced Chandru Selvaraj (Marco) as the cinematographer of the upcoming Malayalam film Chatha Pacha: The Ring of Rowdies. The announcement was made via the film's social media handle, where the makers praised Anend's distinctive visual storytelling and highlighted his influence on modern Malayalam cinema aesthetics. The statement read: “From the iconic vibe of Premam to the grit of Bheeshma Parvam, from the intimacy of Anandham to the poetic frames of Bougainvillea, Anend has shaped how a generation of Malayalam cinema feels. Now, he’s bringing his magic to the rowdiest ring in town.”

Chatha Pacha, a WWE-inspired action film set in Kochi, is directed by debutant Adhvaith Nayar, with a story also penned by him. The film features Arjun Ashokan, Roshan Mathew, Vishak Nair, and Ishan Shoukath in the lead roles. Sanoop Thykoodam, known for Sumesh & Ramesh, Chunkzz, and Vikruthi, is handling the screenplay and dialogues.

Notably, Chatha Pacha will also mark the Malayalam debut of the celebrated composer trio Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy. The film, edited by Praveen Prabhakar, is produced by Ritesh S Ramakrishnan and Shihan Shoukath under the banner of Reel World Entertainment.
