Ranjith Sajeev's United Kingdom of Kerala's release postponed

Director Arun Vaiga stated that the team is working to resolve the outstanding issues and that a revised release date for Ranjith Sajeev's United Kingdom of Kerala will be announced soon

The release of United Kingdom of Kerala, starring Ranjith Sajeev in the lead, has been postponed from its previously announced date of May 23. On Thursday, director Arun Vaiga confirmed the development via a video statement on Instagram, citing technical issues as the reason for the delay. Originally scheduled to hit cinemas on April 17, the film had already undergone one postponement before the latest update. In the video, Arun stated that the team is working to resolve the outstanding issues and that a revised release date will be announced soon.

United Kingdom of Kerala also features Johny Antony, Manju Pillai, Indrans, Manoj K Jayan, Sangeetha, Sarangi Shyam and Premam director Alphonse Puthren. The film is produced by Anne, Sajeev, and Alex under the banners of Fragrant Nature Film Creations and Pooyappally Films. It has cinematography by Sinoj P Ayyappan and music by Rajesh Murugesan, with director Arun also handling the cuts.

Meanwhile, following the sleeper success of Golam, director Samjad will be reuniting with Ranjith for an upcoming vampire action film titled Half. The upcoming project is also backed by Ranjith’s parents, Sajeev and Anne, who also bankrolled Golam.
