Director MA Nishad has finished the shoot of his new film Lurk. The director took to social media on Saturday to announce the completion of filming. He had earlier announced that the film focuses on the pressing issue of man-animal conflict. In his latest social media post, he shared more details about the film and the relevance of its title. "As the title suggests, Lurk is a film about waiting in ambush—an exploration of anticipation and secrecy," wrote the director. He also sounded confident that the film will "spark meaningful conversations across various platforms".

Though Nishad is yet to share details regarding the cast, he earlier hinted that it will be a mix of prominent actors and newcomers. He is producing the film under his home banner, Kerala Talkies.

Nishad is noted for helming like Pakal, Vairam, and No. 66 Madhura Bus. Last year, he directed two films: Iyer In Arabia, a comedy starring Dhyan Sreenivasan, and the investigative thriller Oru Anweshanathinte Thudakkam.
