Earlier, we reported about Antony Varghese collaborating with Marco producer Shareef Muhammed for a feature film. Today, its production banner, Shareef's Cubes Entertainments, released a new poster for the film titled Kattalan. The poster features a rear shot of Antony wielding an axe and holding a tusker by its trunk. Interestingly, the film from debutant director Paul George stars the actor as Antony Varghese. According to a press release, the film revolves around a "confrontation between a man and an elephant."

The second film to feature Antony Varghese and an elephant, after 2021's Ajagajantharam, Kattalan is in its pre-production stage right now. The press note also indicates that the film will have a bigger scale and ambition as compared to Cubes Entertainments' debut production venture, Marco, starring Unni Mukundan. It is set to go on floors soon. The makers plan to release the film in theatres in Malayalam, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, and Kannada. They are yet to reveal further details about the project.
